Our standard
Tech Dose Daily corrects mistakes promptly, transparently and visibly. We do not silently delete or rewrite errors. When we get something wrong, we say so on the page where the error appeared.
What we correct
We will correct any material factual error in our content. This includes:
- Incorrect specifications, prices, dates, names, titles or quotes.
- Misattributed quotes or sources.
- Misleading or unsupported claims about a product or company.
- Factual errors in our reviews, buying guides, comparisons or news reporting.
We may also update articles for non-error reasons — for example, when a product receives a software update, when a price changes significantly, or when new information becomes relevant. These changes are noted at the top or bottom of the article as updates, not as corrections.
How we mark corrections
When we correct a material factual error, we do all of the following:
- Add a “Correction” or “Editor’s note” at the bottom of the article (and, for major errors, at the top), describing what was wrong, what the correct fact is, and the date of the correction.
- Update the relevant text in the article so future readers see the correct information.
- Update any social media post that propagated the original error, where the platform allows.
- For corrections affecting a published score or verdict, we publish an editor’s note explaining the change.
How to request a correction
If you believe we have published something inaccurate or misleading, please write to corrections@techdosedaily.com. Include:
- The URL of the article in question.
- The specific statement you believe is incorrect.
- A clear explanation of what you believe the correct fact is.
- Any source or evidence that supports the correct fact (a manufacturer spec sheet, an official statement, a regulatory filing, etc.).
We acknowledge correction requests within 24 hours, and we aim to make a decision and publish any correction within 7 working days. Complex cases may take longer; we will keep you informed.
Public correction log
We maintain a public log of all material corrections at https://techdosedaily.com/corrections/log (link to be added once the first correction is published). The log lists, for each correction, the date, the article, and a brief description of what was changed.
Right of reply
If you are the subject of an article on Tech Dose Daily and believe it contains an unfair or inaccurate statement about you, you may submit a right-of-reply to corrections@techdosedaily.com. We will consider all reasonable requests and may publish a response or update the article as appropriate.
Grievance escalation
If your correction or grievance is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may escalate it to our Grievance Officer in line with the IT Rules 2021. Contact details are on our Privacy Policy and Contact page. We aim to resolve all grievances within 15 days of receipt, as required by law.
