Reviews
A review is only worth reading if it ends in a clear answer. Our Reviews section exists to give you one: a straight yes, no, or wait on every product we cover, backed by hands-on testing and written for Indian buyers spending real money.
Every review here follows a published methodology. We test phones, laptops, audio gear, and wearables over days of normal use — not a quick unboxing — and we score each product against weighted criteria so two reviewers would reach a similar number for the same device. The overall score sits on a 10-point scale, broken down into sub-scores for design, display, performance, battery, cameras, software, and value, so you can see exactly where a product wins and where it falls short.
We lead with the verdict. At the top of every review you’ll find a short TL;DR, the score, and a plain statement of who should buy this product and who should skip it — tied to concrete use cases and budgets, not vague labels like “power users.” Prices are in rupees, and we judge value against what else that money buys in India right now.
We’re transparent about how we get our hardware. Every review states whether the unit was loaned by the brand, bought independently, or retained, and every page carries an affiliate disclosure. Affiliate links never change a verdict — a higher commission has never made a product score better, and never will.
What you won’t find: reviews written without touching the product, stock-photo galleries standing in for real testing, or “buy with caveats” conclusions that dodge the actual recommendation. If a product is mediocre, we say so.
For broader decisions, pair a review with our buying guides — best-of lists by price band and use case — and our head-to-head comparisons. A single review tells you if a product is good; the guides tell you if it’s the right one for you.
