Our respect for copyright

Tech Dose Daily respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our readers and contributors to do the same. This page explains how to notify us if you believe content on https://techdosedaily.com infringes your copyright, and how we respond to such notices.

Our own content

The articles, reviews, buying guides, comparisons, original photography, illustrations and design on this Site are the original work of Tech Dose Daily, operated by Ashvinee Nagle, unless otherwise credited. We licence stock or brand-supplied imagery where used and credit it accordingly. If you believe we have used your work without permission or proper credit, please contact us using the process below and we will investigate promptly.

Filing a copyright complaint

If you are a copyright owner, or authorised to act on behalf of one, and you believe material on the Site infringes your copyright, send a written notice to editorial@techdosedaily.com with the subject line “Copyright Complaint”. To allow us to act, your notice must include all of the following:

  • Your full name, postal address, email address and telephone number.
  • A clear identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  • The exact URL(s) on Tech Dose Daily where the allegedly infringing material appears.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and — under penalty of perjury — that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Incomplete notices may delay our response. Please do not send incomplete or bad-faith complaints.

How we respond

When we receive a complete and valid copyright complaint, we will acknowledge it within 24 hours and aim to review and act on it within 7 working days. Where a complaint is well-founded, we will remove or disable access to the material in question, and we may notify the person who posted it (where applicable).

Counter-notice

If you believe your material was removed in error or as a result of misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to editorial@techdosedaily.com. Your counter-notice should identify the material and its location before removal, include a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed in error, and include your name, address, telephone number and signature. We will review counter-notices fairly and may restore the material where appropriate.

Repeat infringers

We may, at our discretion, restrict or terminate access to the Site for any contributor or commenter who repeatedly infringes the copyright of others.

Grievance escalation

Copyright complaints are also handled as grievances under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT Rules 2021. If your complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may escalate it to our Grievance Officer, whose contact details are listed on our Privacy Policy and Contact pages. We aim to resolve grievances within 15 days of receipt.
