What sponsored content is
Sponsored content is any article, video, newsletter placement or other content that a brand pays Tech Dose Daily to produce or publish. It is fundamentally different from our editorial content — our news, reviews, buying guides and comparisons — which no one can pay for. This page explains what sponsored content we accept, how we label it, and the rules that protect our readers and our independence.
The line we do not cross
A sponsor can pay for our time, our production effort and a clearly labelled placement. A sponsor cannot pay for a verdict, a score, a recommendation, or the removal of criticism. Our editorial reviews and buying guides are never for sale, and a sponsorship does not buy a brand favourable treatment anywhere else on the Site.
How we label sponsored content
- Every sponsored item carries a clear label — “Sponsored” or “In partnership with [Brand]” — at the very top of the content, before any body text, in line with the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) and Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) guidelines.
- The label is visible without scrolling and is not hidden in fine print, tags or footers.
- Sponsored content is visually distinct from editorial content and is not styled to be mistaken for a review or news article.
- Outbound links within sponsored content carry the rel=”sponsored nofollow” attribute, as required by search engine guidelines.
- On video and audio, the sponsorship is disclosed both verbally and on screen.
What we will and will not accept
We accept sponsored content only where it is genuinely useful or interesting to our readers and relevant to technology. We retain full editorial control over the accuracy and quality of any sponsored piece, and we will fact-check sponsored claims as we would our own.
We will not accept sponsorship from, or publish sponsored content for:
- Gambling, betting or real-money gaming services.
- Predatory lending, instant-loan apps or get-rich-quick schemes.
- Speculative crypto tokens, “guaranteed return” investment products or trading schemes.
- Products that are illegal in India, or that make health, safety or financial claims we cannot verify.
- Any brand asking us to disguise the content as independent editorial, or to suppress disclosure.
Right to refuse and right to verdict
We reserve the right to decline any sponsorship for any reason. If we separately review a sponsor’s product as editorial content, that review is written independently and may reach a negative verdict regardless of the sponsorship. We will tell readers when a reviewed product belongs to a company that has sponsored us.
Advertising enquiries
Brands interested in sponsored content or advertising can write to advertise@techdosedaily.com. Our rates, formats and audience details are described on our Advertise page.
