Tech Dose Daily is operated by Ashvinee Nagle, a sole proprietorship with its registered/principal place of business at Nagpur, Maharashtra 441108. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDPA”) of India, Tech Dose Daily is the Data Fiduciary in relation to the personal data described in this Policy. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and the UK GDPR, Tech Dose Daily is the data controller.

Who this policy applies to
This Policy applies to all visitors of the Site, newsletter subscribers, commenters, contributors, advertisers and anyone who otherwise contacts us. It applies whether you access the Site from India or any other country.
The Site is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you are under 18, please do not submit any personal data through the Site. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, contact us at the address below and we will delete the relevant data, subject to verifiable parental consent procedures required under the DPDPA.
Personal data we collect
We only collect personal data we actually need. Specifically:
We do not knowingly collect any “Sensitive Personal Data” as defined under prior Indian law (financial information, health data, biometric data, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, caste etc.) and we do not ask for it. Please do not share such data with us through any form on the Site.
- Data you give us directly: your email address (when you subscribe to the newsletter), your name and email (when you comment, contact us, or pitch a story), the content of any message you send us, and any information you choose to include in a public comment.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not share your personal data with third parties for the purpose of cross-context behavioural advertising without your consent.

How long we keep your personal data
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy or as required by law. Specifically:
- Newsletter subscriber emails: until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
- Comment data: for as long as the comment is published; you can request removal at any time.
- Contact form submissions: for up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Analytics data: typically up to 14 months at aggregate level (configured in GA4).
- Server logs: typically up to 90 days, unless retained longer for security investigations.
After the retention period, we will either delete or anonymise the relevant data.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the following rights in respect of your personal data:
- Right of access: to obtain a summary of the personal data we process about you and the processing activities we undertake.
- Right of correction: to ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
- Right of erasure: to ask us to delete personal data we no longer need to retain.
- Right to withdraw consent: where our processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

- Right to data portability and right to object: applicable where you are protected by the GDPR or UK GDPR.

We will acknowledge complaints within 24 hours of receipt and aim to resolve them within 15 days, as required by the IT Rules 2021. For data protection complaints unresolved by us, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India once it becomes operational.
Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. These include encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, regular software updates, secure hosting and limiting access to personal data to authorised personnel only.
No method of transmission over the internet is fully secure. While we strive to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
In the event of a personal data breach affecting you, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India in accordance with the timelines and procedures required under the DPDPA and applicable law.
International transfers
Some of our service providers (for example, analytics, email and hosting providers) may be located outside India. Where we transfer personal data outside India, we do so only to jurisdictions that are not restricted by the Government of India under the DPDPA, and we put in place appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses where GDPR applies).
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services or legal obligations. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email or via a prominent notice on the Site.
